Fire Suppression

Provided by on-call, nationally certified, volunteer firefighters with experience levels ranging from 1 to 35 years of service.  Our firefighters live throughout the Fire District.

 

Safety and Rescue

All firefighters are first responder certified and work in conjunction with Allina Medical, North Memorial and Lakes Region Medical Transportation Teams.  Additional services also include Auto Extrication, Searches and Ice/Water Rescue.

 

Hazardous Materials

Isanti Fire District members are trained and certified to the hazardous material operational level.  This enables us to respond and mitigate accidental spills and releases.

 

Fire Prevention/Public Education Classes

Fire Prevention and Educational classes are provided for children in preschool, primary, middle and intermediate schools in the Isanti Area.  Classes are also available for other organizations including; 4-H, daycare facilities, community churches, etc.

 

Fire Investigation

All investigations are provided by the Incident Commander and the State Fire Marshall.

 

Prefire Planning

The Isanti Fire District uses a computer software program which allows us to create custom, detailed floor and site plans for commercial buildings, schools, apartment complexes, condos, churches, and Hazmat locations.
